One of the most complex challenges was implementing an efficient, bug-free drag-and-drop sub-activity system that synchronizes dynamically with the backend without slowing down the immediate user interface. Tracking "streaks" and propagating completion states from a child activity up to a parent (and vice versa) required deeply optimized state management using Zustand and carefully orchestrated React context. Additionally, migrating the Next.js routing infrastructure to correctly proxy secure dynamic routes (using Next 16's updated proxy.ts) required modernizing the authentication flow efficiently.

Designing a dashboard that functions as a data-heavy application on the desktop while remaining fully responsive, intuitive, and tactile on mobile devices also presented a significant design hurdle. This was elegantly resolved via responsive CSS grid architectures and mobile-first container wrapping.
